"Choosing Inertia Creative to work with us on the Shifting the Dial project has been one of the best decisions we have made. When I first began to consider visual and media outputs for the project, I imagined a basic media piece to fulfil a project requirement. Thanks to the vision and passion of Josh and Jess, we now have a range of impactful, accessible, and engaging outputs showcasing our research. These outputs have supported us to present and disseminate our work to a wide range of audiences. From bespoke PowerPoint presentations to event handout packs including accessible and engaging materials (e.g. short findings report), to a truly outstanding short film. Josh and Jess have delivered each of these with incredible dedication and a genuine passion for the project and its aim to shift the dial on adult social care for adults with neuromuscular conditions. Simply put, without Inertia Creative, this project would not have had the impact it has had."

The filmmaking journey for me was incredibly eye. The main focus was around the people and the stories they had to tell. There were a few points where I almost had to stop recording because of the tears in my eyes. But wasn’t all sorrow.  Their outlook on life is stronger than anything I’ve ever known and their push to live life to it’s fullest has forever changed the way I look at the world.

I met such a diverse group of people, each giving me an insight into their own worlds. In Newcastle, I got to witness Alex practice with his band, which just so happens to be the first Duchenne fronted band in the country. In London, Benjamin drove me to the supermarket in his van with no steering wheel. In Manchester, Liam introduced me to the Man United Powerchair Football team. In the space of two weeks I felt like a different person and before long, I realised these sorts of stories are the ones I’m destined to tell.

I so look forward to continuing to work with Inertia Creative and highly recommend that others do so. You will not find a more dedicated, genuine, and kind company to work with to deliver your project aims. Thank you, Inertia Creative.
